Pregnancy Discrimation is real

Pregnancy discrimination is real. Before the recession, 45% of women suffered pregnancy discrimination. 7% of women, around 30,000, each year say they lost their job as a result of their pregnancy, and women who were made redundant before their pregnancy lost out on £1,500 in maternity pay on average.

We want to find any women who might be suffering in silence – tell us your stories of pregnancy discrimination.

How did you find your employer during your pregnancy and maternity? Find out if they did everything with the Valuing Maternity ‘Rate Your Employer’ survey.
