Pregnancy Discrimation is real
Pregnancy discrimination is real. Before the recession, 45% of women suffered pregnancy discrimination. 7% of women, around 30,000, each year say they lost their job as a result of their pregnancy, and women who were made redundant before their pregnancy lost out on £1,500 in maternity pay on average.
We want to find any women who might be suffering in silence – tell us your stories of pregnancy discrimination.
